Locations

The main themes in our video are drug use, psychedelics, life and hallucinations, we wanted these themes to be clear to the audience therefore when we went location searching we decided that the best location to use for the majority of the video would be inside one of our houses as the video consists of portraying the lives of two people, so the home environment fit perfectly. We also found some isolated streets which were suitable for the outside shots as they were quiet and isolated so it enabled us to create the perfect atmosphere.

Another idea we considered to do was a contrasting shot of the protagonist walking out of two different houses, both characters being the same person yet existing in different ways, therefore giving a certain image to the viewers. We decided against this as it may have lost us the effect we desired, so in the end we decided to show the two different life paths by using two contrasting outfits and mise en scene to show their separate lifestyles.
